No stranger to bringing her own brand of holiday cheer over the years thanks to festive films like ‘A Family Reunion Christmas,‘ ‘All I Didn’t Want for Christmas,’ ‘Christmas Deja Vu,’ ‘Christmas in Harmony,’ and many more, Loretta Devine is keeping the tradition alive in 2025 with not one but TWO new movies.

In addition to thrilling Lifetime viewers with the forthcoming flick ‘Deck the Hallways,’ the stage and screen Queen is also joining forces with ‘Run the World’ stars Amber Stevens West and Corbin Reid for OWN’s ‘The Christmas Showdown.’

Directed by Nanea Miyata, ‘Showdown’ shines as one of three new films included in the 2025 edition of the ‘OWN for the Holidays’ programming slate.

“Former childhood best friends, April (Reid) and Chastity (Stevens West), compete for the same event design job at a Christmas show; they must overcome their past falling-out and work together to impress the producer, but rivalry intensifies,” the official logline reads.

Also starring Obba Babatunde and Carla Renata, ‘Showdown’ is set to premiere on Saturday (December 6) at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
