Miley Cyrus is about to reveal her  ‘Secrets’ with a new single.

The superstar revealed Tuesday morning (Sept. 16) that her brand-new single ‘Secrets’ will officially drop this Friday, Sept. 19.

The song comes after Miley first teased the track, which she originally wrote for her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, in honor of his 64th birthday.

The father–daughter duo has had their ups and downs over the years, but fans are already buzzing that “Secrets” could be a sign they’re heading in the right direction. The release also follows hot on the heels of Miley’s latest album ‘Something Beautiful.’

It’s believed ‘Secrets’ forms part of a deluxe edition of the LP.

Opening up about the inspiration behind the track, Miley explained:

“I wrote this song about my dad because I wanted him to tell me even though there were secrets, even though I didn’t really want to know.”
