Megan Thee Stallion had an emotional moment onstage this weekend.

The Rap star was seen breaking down in tears during the curtain call of ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical’ on Saturday night in New York, just hours after publicly announcing her split from NBA player Klay Thompson.

In fan-captured footage, the Houston native appeared overcome with emotion as the audience gave her a standing ovation. Still in costume, she turned away from the crowd to wipe her tears.

The emotional moment came after Megan took to Instagram Stories to accuse Thompson of cheating.

She wrote:

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.’”

She later confirmed the breakup in a statement, saying trust, fidelity, and respect are “non-negotiable.”

The three-time Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper is currently making her Broadway debut as the first female-identifying performer to play Zidler in the Tony-winning production.

Her eight-week run began March 24 and continues through May 17 at New York’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
