Mariah Carey is about to make history once again – this time in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest.

For, the legendary diva has been tapped to headline Amazônia Live – Today and Always.

Set to take place on September 17, the event will feature a special set of performances on a floating stage along the Guamá River in Belém, Brazil.

The concert adds another bow to Mimi’s major 2025, a year that has included a Lifetime Achievement honor at the BET Awards and her receiving the  Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs 2025.

Carey will, of course, also be releasing her 16th studio album, ‘Here For It All,’ on September 26.

Now, she’s set to deliver what promises to be one of her most unforgettable showings yet, framed by a sunset over the rainforest and a stage design inspired by the Victoria Amazonica, the region’s symbolic plant.

Beyond the songbird’s majestic performance, the event aims to raise awareness for rainforest protection ahead of COP30, which Belém will host in November.

Helmed by Rock World (the team behind Rock in Rio), the concert will air as a nationwide TV special in Brazil.
