Just weeks after sending her beloved fans (affectionately called #NormaniNation) into a frenzy with reports she will be dropping new music next year, Normani recently reiterated the statement at the Los Angeles launch party for her new eponymous fashion line in partnership with SHEIN.
“I have so many tricks up my sleeve…I’m very excited,” she told Billboard‘s Tetris Kelly at the event. “A lot to look forward to and be excited about in 2026.”
While she did not specify what quarter the new music will drop, just confirmation that she is hard-at-work on what is believed to be the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Dopamine‘ was enough to get fans’ tongues wagging.
The comment to Billboard came amid reports the 29-year-old will likely be releasing her next album on a new label as her name is no longer listed on the artist roster of the RCA Records’ website as of time of this report.
At writing, however, no official statement has been released regarding her standing with RCA (her label home since unveiling her debut solo single ‘Motivation‘ in 2019).
