“It’s going to take a lot more than that to keep a bad b-tch down,” declared Lil Nas X while providing an optimistic update about his health.

As reported here, the 2-time GRAMMY winner left fans stunned Monday night (April 14) when he delivered news from a hospital that he was suffering from a bout with facial paralysis.

Just a day later, he’s already on the mend.

As thousands of fans flocked to his social media to deliver well wishes (and speculate if the cause of his condition was Bell’s Palsy or a stroke), X (born Montero Hill) took to Instagram to attempt to calm their worries.

“Guys, I am ok. Stop being sad for me! Shake your a– for me instead,” he joked on Instagram Stories before sharing,“I’mma look funny for a little bit but that’s it.” 

When his captioned photo updates didn’t do much to quell their concern, Hill uploaded a video of himself out of the hospital, skating, and enjoying some sunshine.

“It’s getting better y’all, I promise. It’s going to take a lot more than that to keep a bad b-tch down. My eye is wonky, but I’m not,” the 26-year-old said in one of the clips while reiterating his inability to move the right side of his face.

At the time of this report, Montero has still not relayed what his official diagnosis is but fans are certainly thankful he’s on the up-and-up.
