Latto says a feature from her has often come without an invoice.

The Rap star opened up about her approach to guest verses during an October 29 appearance on ‘Hot Ones’ with Sean Evans. Now, motherhood has her reconsidering the business side.

Discussing collaborations during the new interview, Latto explained that liking the song and the artist has been enough to get her involved.

“I do features for free.”

She described those contributions as favors, while acknowledging that other artists have sought payment when she approaches them. That contrast has prompted her to question whether she should charge too.

“But I’ve been thinking about that now that I got a baby to feed.”

The remarks come after Latto announced the arrival of her first child in May and released her fourth album, ‘Big Mama’, later that month.

She did not announce a rate or confirm a new policy. Her explanation centered on wanting collaborations to begin with genuine enthusiasm for the music.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the Atlanta native said criticism can motivate her to work harder, giving her another reason to prove herself in the studio.
