Jesy Nelson‘s acrimonious split from Little Mix made headlines in 2020 and continued to send tongues wagging in the years that followed.

Particularly, as the singer and her former bandmates opened up the more about their respective takes on her exit.

It cast a shadow of doubt on the feasibility of a reconciliation, especially after all involved confirmed that communication had ceased.

It would appear that time is the ultimate healer, because Nelson has revealed that her ex-comrades Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have been in contact.

What Did Jesy Nelson Say About Little Mix?

Speaking with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Nelson shared that the ladies have touched base with her since she welcomed her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Munroe.

She said:

“Yeah, they’ve reached out to me. It’s been lovely. It’s very healing, It’s lovely.”

Continuing, she added:

“We were genuinely best friends. Things happen in life; it doesn’t always go the way you think it is going to, but I think…three of us are moms now, we’ve all had time to heal, it’s been nearly six years. It’s one of them things that takes time. And who knows what will happen, but since they’ve been reaching out, it’s lovely. It’s definitely healed a part of me for sure.”

Nelson appeared on the show to promote her newly released Prime Video documentary, ‘Life After Little Mix.’ She also seized the moment to spotlight her awareness drive for SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), the rare condition her twins were diagnosed with.
