The future of Dreamville Festival may not be as final as it seems, as J. Cole reveals what’s next for the curated concert series.

The 2025 edition of the festival marked its fifth and possibly last year, wrapping up this past weekend at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Boasting a stacked lineup, the festival featured acts including Lil Wayne with the Hot Boys, 21 Savage, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chief Keef, Young Nudy, Ab-Soul, Ludacris, and Keyshia Cole, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of her debut album ‘The Way It Is.’

As the festival came to a close, Cole reflected on its impact and hinted at the future of the extravaganza

Cole shared:

“We said this is the last Dreamville Festival, that sh*t be a lot. We want to put on some amazing sh*t for y’all, we want to do it for Carolina, you know what I mean? We love being able to offer that and bring amazing artists.”

However, the MC didn’t close the door completely on the event’s future. Giving fans a sense of hope, he said:

“It might not have the ‘Dreamville Festival’ name on it, but we will be back with this feel. When y’all out here, I don’t know if y’all feel it. But to me, this st feel like a cookout, motherf**ing family reunion.”

While the Dreamville Festival might be ending in its current form, Cole’s words signal that the spirit of the festival will continue in another form.
