The Oscar winner is entering a new decade while encouraging women to embrace aging, intimacy and their changing bodies without shame.

Halle Berry is not quietly tiptoeing toward 60. She is celebrating the milestone from Fiji, feeling blessed, looking good and reminding women that growing older does not mean giving up their sensuality.

The Oscar-winning actress shared a video ahead of her 60th birthday, which falls on Aug. 14, reflecting on the new decade while promoting her intimate wellness product, Juicy Like a Peach.

“I am in Fiji celebrating two things,” Berry said in the video. “My 60th birthday. I don’t know how that happened, but I thank God every day that it did.”

Berry said she feels better than she ever has and playfully welcomed the start of Leo season. She then pivoted to the other reason for her celebration: the launch of Juicy Like a Peach, a vaginal dryness treatment created through her menopause wellness company, Respin, in partnership with Joylux.

“I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my whole life,” Berry said. “There’s no reason that you should change in any way. You should be juicy like a peach.”

It is the kind of bold declaration Berry has made central to her work as an advocate for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause. Rather than treating the transition as something embarrassing or best discussed behind closed doors, the “Monster’s Ball” star has been using her platform to talk candidly about hormones, vaginal health, painful sex and the medical system’s frequent failure to prepare women for the changes ahead.

Berry previously said she experienced perimenopause symptoms for years without understanding what was happening because her doctors never discussed the possibility with her. The actress told People that she was repeatedly assured that she looked healthy, even as she struggled with internal changes that affected her body and sex life.

That experience helped inspire Berry’s pivot into wellness advocacy and the creation of Respin, which provides menopause education, products and access to health resources.

Juicy Like a Peach is marketed as an FDA-cleared treatment for vaginal dryness. According to Joylux, the product uses HPMC-5 technology to create a breathable barrier designed to retain moisture, ease dryness and reduce discomfort during sex.

The product became available online in July and has since expanded into hundreds of Ulta Beauty stores nationwide.

For Berry, however, the venture appears to be about more than selling a product. It is part of a larger effort to challenge the idea that women, particularly women approaching or moving beyond menopause, should become less visible, less desirable or less interested in intimacy.

That message may hold particular resonance for Black women, whose pain and health concerns have historically been overlooked or minimized in medical settings. Honest conversations about menopause can help women recognize symptoms earlier, ask better questions and demand more thoughtful care instead of suffering silently.

Berry has spent decades being discussed as a beauty symbol, but she is now using that attention to broaden the conversation about what confidence can look like at 60.

She is not presenting aging as something women have to defeat. She is presenting it as a new chapter they deserve to enter informed, fulfilled and, in her words, still juicy.
