Fantasia has long been open about the highs and lows of her journey. But now, the spotlight has shifted to her husband Kendall Taylor, following pointed remarks from her father suggesting he has been misappropriating the singer’s money.

The entrepreneur is not letting the narrative slide. In a video released on social media, Taylor firmly rejects the accusations and details his own financial standing prior to marrying the Grammy winner.

Taylor began by outlining his professional résumé and stressing that his success was established long before he crossed paths with the North Carolina native.

“When I met my wife, I was running my own multi-million dollar company. Period. That means her success, her career didn’t build me, didn’t shape me. That’s because I went to Senokco Leadership Academy, BMW Black Belt Training, Tuck School of Business, uh, Small Business Accelerator, C Medi Business Initiative, and had a lot of success and a lot of recognition.”

He also revealed that he was the one who pushed for legal protections before they tied the knot.

“I asked for the prenup. A prenup wasn’t put on me. I asked for it because I had business partners that I needed to protect and I needed to make sure her family knew that I had no intentions on coming after anything that she had established before she met me. I wanted to create a run way where we could just experience love with each other and figure out what this unnatural natural feeling was that we were exploring.”

Addressing the source of the allegations, Taylor did not hold back.

“The gentleman who was taking the initiative to use her and my platform because he does not have one to demonstrate things that are beyond false and fictitious… Didn’t show up to the wedding. Didn’t want to speak with me, get to know me.”

He also reflected on his personal past and the adversity he has overcome.

“I am a justice impacted individual and I had to overcome tremendous adversity and circumstances in order to break a lot of criminal genenic mindsets and trauma and behavior that was keeping me at living at a lower level than what I was capable of and I experienced incredible success.”
