Drake may be ready to saddle up for one of the year’s biggest hits.

The Rap titan has seemingly teased a remix of Ella Langley‘s blockbuster ‘Choosin’ Texas,’ fueling speculation that an unlikely crossover could be incoming.

During a club set in his Toronto hometown, the 39-year-old was filmed previewing what appears to be his own spin on Langley’s Country juggernaut, crooning over a reworked version of the track.

While no official remix has been announced, the tease isn’t entirely out of left field.

Drizzy attended the Alabama native’s Dandelion Tour show in Arkansas earlier this month, where he was spotted enthusiastically singing along to ‘Choosin’ Texas.’

The MC had previously played the track during a Houston DJ set and praised Langley’s songwriting as a “goated pen.”

And there’s quite the hit to potentially inherit.

‘Choosin’ Texas’ has amassed a mammoth 19 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, tying the record for the longest-running non-holiday chart-topper.

The smash also made Langley the first woman to simultaneously lead the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts.

Drake arrives with plenty of chart heat of his own. The OVO titan recently unleashed three albums simultaneously, while ‘Janice STFU’ subsequently topped the Hot 100.

Between a dependable hit vendor and a song already operating at blockbuster level, an official pairing could prove huge.
