Donald Trump is doubling down amid the growing controversy surrounding his upcoming Freedom 250 concert.

As reported, a wave of artists – including Morris Day – have distanced themselves from the event in recent days, sparking headlines and fueling speculation about the show’s future.

Now, the President has weighed in directly, and he’s making it clear he’s not losing sleep over the departures.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump suggested that concerns from performers about appearing at the event have opened the door to a very different kind of headliner.

“I understand Artists are getting ‘the yips’ having to do with their performance on Wednesday, so I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists,’ and give a major speech.”

The remarks come after several high-profile acts reportedly pulled out of the patriotic concert celebration, which has been met with mounting backlash online.

Trump continued by taking aim at the artists who exited the lineup.

“I don’t want so-called ‘Artists’ that get paid far too much money, who aren’t happy. I only want to be surrounded by Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People that know how to WIN.”

He then hinted that a large-scale rally could ultimately replace the entertainment-focused event altogether.

“So, by copy of this TRUTH, I am ordering my Representatives to look at the feasibility of doing an AMERICA IS BACK Rally.”

Whether the Freedom 250 concert proceeds as originally planned remains to be seen.
