Damon Dash is once again making headlines for his latest remarks about former Roc-A-Fella partner Jay-Z.

The music executive took aim at Hov’s history-making Yankee Stadium performances, dismissing several of the weekend’s biggest moments.

Dame Dash questions why Jay-Z keeps flexing that Beyoncé is his girl, calling it unnatural, and says it was cringe when Jay-Z brought out Nas during Day 1 of his three-show Yankee Stadium run.

Appearing on The Art of Dialogue, one of his sharpest critiques was Nas‘ surprise appearance which he labeled:

“a little cringe”

Arguing that the longtime rival’s reconciliation felt inauthentic given their past feud, Damon also shared:

“I’m used to them beefing… I never wanted to see Nas rap over a Jay beat. I never wanted to see Jay doing background for Nas. It just felt awkward.”

Dash even questioned Jay-Z and Beyonce‘s public displays of affection, including the now viral moment showing the superstar cutting her husband’s hair.

He asserted:

“It just seemed very obvious that the hair thing really f*cked with him. ‘Cause, you know, he had a scripted Beyonce cutting his hair, twice… So, why is it that you keep flexing this girl? Like, we know that’s your girl, God damn.”

Despite Dash’s criticism, fans widely celebrated the performances with Beyonce and Nas’ appearances ranking among the most talked about highlights.
