Ciara is no stranger to making history over her 20-year career, but she added yet another historic feat to her resume this week when she became the first African American artist to grace the cover of ‘Rolling Stone Africa.’

Hot on the global promo trail for her new album, the August 22-due ‘CiCi,’ the ‘RS’ pages saw her strike some sultry poses while cloaked in some seriously jaw-dropping designer duds.

Ciara’s made no secret of her admiration of African artists in the past, particularly praising the likes of rising Amapiano starlet Tyla.

Beyond eyeing a collaboration with the South African singer, Cici told ‘RS’ there a few other hitmakers from the continent she wouldn’t mind studio time with.

“It’s my dream to work with artist like Davido, Wizkid, FireBoy DML, and Ayra Starr to name a few! I’m really obsessed with the music and artists from Africa,” she relayed in the mag’s feature interview. “The talent and sounds are so special and unique. There’s something magical that happens when Western and African artist come together!”

While the aforementioned acts have yet to publicly respond to Ciara’s praise and collaboration calls, we can only imagine the pure heat they’d cook up in the studio.
