Chart Check [Hot 100]: Gwen Stefani’s ‘Shake the Snow Globe’ Becomes Her Highest-Charting Solo Hit in Nearly a Decade

Gwen Stefani‘s last studio effort – 2024’s ‘Bouquet‘ – may not exactly have yielded the critical or commercial flowers the Ska diva was likely expecting, but the response to her holiday efforts have seemingly more than made up for that.

One of multiple new original songs found aboard the November-released deluxe edition of Stefani’s ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas‘ album,  ‘Shake the Snow Globe‘ shook up the updated Billboard Hot 100 with a #86 debut.

Powered by exposure from its feature on the soundtrack of Prime Video’s 2025 Christmas film ‘Oh. What. Fun’ starring Academy and EMMY-nominated veteran actress Michelle Pfeiffer, ‘Snow Globe’ – an Amazon exclusive itself – entered the music hitlist as the week’s highest-charting arrival among holiday songs.

Beyond the attention garnered from ‘Fun,’ Stefani has been on an aggressive promotional campaign for the song – even giving it the live treatment on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ as well as this year’s ‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular’ and ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center.’

The hard work paid off this week as ‘Snow Globe’ became her highest-charting unaccompanied hit since 2016’s ‘Make Me Like You‘ peaked at #54 in March of that year.
