Blueface was detained at gunpoint on Sunday after police descended on his King of Crabs restaurant in Santa Clarita following a false report of a shooting.

The dramatic encounter unfolded during the rapper’s Kick livestream, with his partner Nevaeh Akira and their newborn son also caught up in the frightening scene.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the restaurant at approximately 5:27pm after receiving a report of a shooting.

Footage from the scene showed armed deputies ordering Blueface and Nevaeh outside with their hands raised. The 29-year-old was instructed to get on his knees before being handcuffed, while footage also showed Nevaeh and their newborn being placed in the back of a police vehicle.

According to City News Service, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Sgt. Josh Nemeth confirmed that Blueface was detained while deputies investigated.

“Deputies responded, completed an investigation and determined no crime occurred at the location.”

The rapper and others detained at the scene were subsequently released. No injuries were confirmed, and no arrests were reported.

The scare comes barely a month after Blueface was targeted in a remarkably similar incident at his Canyon Country home. As reported, deputies swarmed the property after receiving a false report that a woman had been shot. Blueface was briefly detained before authorities determined that no shooting had taken place.

The latest incident unfolded just days after Nevaeh gave birth to the couple’s son, Johnathan Jamall Porter Jr., on August 18.

It also follows another recent police encounter for the rapper. Earlier this month, he was temporarily handcuffed during a traffic stop in San Diego. That incident similarly ended without an arrest.
