A true runway icon is sharing his toughest walk yet.

In Netflix’s ‘Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model,’ Miss J Alexander delivers one of the documentary’s most emotional revelations – disclosing that he suffered a stroke in December 2022.

The fashion fixture, born Alexander Jenkins, rose to fame as the catwalk coach on ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ a role he held at the request of Tyra Banks, whom he once coached as a teen.

Friends and former colleagues Nigel Barker and Jay Manuel visited during his lengthy hospital stay, recalling tearful reunions. Alexander also revealed the stroke left him in a coma for five weeks and unable to walk or speak.

In the doc, he confessed:

“I miss being the queen of the runway. The catwalks, of course. I’m the person who taught the models how to walk.”

Though he admits the journey has been painful, Alexander remains hopeful, saying:

“I can’t walk. Not yet. Not yet. I’m determined to walk. I’m sure you’re gonna see me again, I’m sure. It’s not over for me yet.”
