Christmas is coming early for longtime fans of Kesha (affectionately called #Animals).

Just weeks after wrapping up her critically acclaimed ‘Freedom World Tour,’ the Pop diva gifted the most unexpected present when she revealed she was finally free to unwrap the official music video for her 2010 single ‘Backstabber.’

“Girl (girl), you’re such a backstabber (stabber) You’re such a backstabber Run your mouth more than anyone I’ve ever known And everybody knows it (and everybody knows it) Back-back-backstabber,” she sings over David Gamson production.

Found on her debut album ‘Animal,’ the fan-favorite tune’s accompanying visual has been locked in a vault for nearly 2 decades.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this but after 16 years, it’s finally here,” Kesha wrote on Instagram on ahead of the clip’s arrival.

And though she’s opted to forego the “looong story” about why it’s taken so long to release, one thing’s for sure: it was certainly worth the wait.

See the action inside.
