Yung Miami is opening up about the current status of the City Girls and her relationship with JT in a new sit-down interview with Charlamagne tha God.

During the conversation, Miami made it clear that while there’s no bad blood, she and JT are simply in different places in life. 

She explained that they’ve grown into “two different people” moving in “two different lanes,” and trying to force that into one brand no longer works.

Still, the bond between them runs deeper than music.

Miami compared the distance between them to losing someone close.

Despite the shift, she emphasized that their legacy remains intact.

She shared:

“It was just like losing a friend, like a sister.

 It’s forever going to be the City Girls. We both come from the hood that’s an accomplishment for both of us.”

When it comes to a reunion, Miami isn’t shutting the door, just not rushing the moment. She admitted that communication between the two has been strained at times. 

According to Careesha, the time will come when they’re both in the right space.
