Marvel’s ‘Wonder Man’ has officially been renewed for a second season at Disney+, marking a rare multi-season run for a live-action series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The first season, which premiered in late January, followed Williams, an aspiring actor navigating the chaos of Hollywood, whose path crosses with the eccentric Slattery.

Together, the pair chase career-defining roles in a fictional superhero reboot, offering a tongue-in-cheek look at the entertainment industry.

Created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, the latter will continue as showrunner, while Cretton returns to direct and executive produce.

Supporting cast members, including X Mayo, Demetrius Grosse, and Olivia Thirlby are also expected to be part of the expanding story.

The renewal places ‘Wonder Man’ in a small club of MCU shows to land a second season, following the likes of ‘Loki’ and ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.

With a strong critical response and a fresh angle on superhero storytelling, the series appears to be carving out its own lane on the streamer.
