The actor-singer was arrested in Atlanta early this morning (October 3) on a Cruelty to Animals charge, just days after reports surfaced that one of his Cane Corso mastiffs had fatally attacked a neighbor’s dog.

According to Fulton County records, Tyrese was booked at 5:59 a.m. before being released on a $20,000 bond. The tragic incident allegedly occurred last month when a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, named Henry, was mauled in his own yard.

Henry’s owner shared the heartbreaking discovery of his pet’s body, claiming Tyrese’s dogs were often seen roaming the neighborhood without leashes.

Police issued a warrant earlier this week, leading to the star’s arrest. While details remain unclear on whether he turned himself in, the incident has sparked outrage among locals and left questions about accountability hanging in the air.
