Netflix has dropped the teaser trailer for the final season of ‘Stranger Things’. And it’s looking like it’s going to be the showdown of a lifetime.

The final season of the hit series is set in Fall of 1987. Hawkins is in ruins after the opening of the Rifts. The town is under military quarantine, Eleven is back in hiding, and Vecna is still missing. As Will Byers’s anniversary of his first disappearance draws near, a familiar foe and fear return.

But, to end this nightmare, they’re going to need the whole band back together to defeat Vecna and destroy the Upside Down.

The OG ensemble cast is set to return which includes: Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), Priah Ferguson (Erica Sinclair), and Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna).

Along with a new addition for this season, the ‘Terminator’ icon herself, Linda Hamilton, will play Dr. Kay.

The ‘Stranger Things’ creators Matt and Ross Duffer dished on diving deeper into the Upside Down lore this season. Ross states:

“We’ve punted a couple of those [reveals] to have some big reveals in Season 5. And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about.”

The final showdown will be in three parts. ‘Stranger Things’ Volume 1 premieres November 26 at 5PM PT on Netflix. Volume 2 drops December 25 at 5PM PT, and The Finale airs December 31 at 5PM PT.
