Over the weekend, several clips surfaced on TikTok and Snapchat showing Lee and Smith spending time together in public. One video that quickly went viral shows Smith giving Lee a piggyback ride while they laugh and chatter during a night out, and at points in the clip, the ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ star  affectionately calls him “baby.”

Additional footage that circulated appears to show them close together while watching a performer and suggests a brief kiss between the pair, though the angle doesn’t clearly show their faces.

The duo’s flirtatious banter, including moments where Smith seems to publicly compliment Lee and vice versa, has fuelled dating rumors online, especially given their 20-year age gap.

Now, Lee has addressed the chatter head-on, brushing off the criticism with a lighthearted response, she posted on her Instagram Story:

“Lol this was fun, Hate to break it to ya, I’m not that typa girl!!!”

Still, the backlash has been loud with many questioning the dynamic, meanwhile, Smith has kept things cryptic, posting solo snaps and subtle captions like:

“Just Me And Me Only.”

As for Solange and the Knowles camp? No word from them at the time of writing.
