Cardi B has stormed the media scene with the push for her long-awaited sophomore album, ‘Am I The Drama?’

Arriving seven years after the launch of her breakthrough ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ the project has proven viral even before its release – thanks to savvy social media marketing and brand partnerships. This, along with excitement around its many features, such as Janet Jackson, Tyla, Lizzo, and Kehlani.

With buzz for the set, which is home to hits such as ‘Outside,’ ‘WAP,’ and ‘Up,’ at fever pitch, how tall are its first week sales stacking?

While acknowledging the limited data available, Hits Daily Double currently has the LP tracking towards a #1 US debut on the Billboard 200 with:

120,000-150,000 Units

Interestingly (and perhaps vitally), the present projection appears centered more around the album’s streaming momentum.

With Cardi mounting a strong physical format push (with several variants) and also setting sail on a week-long signing tour,  it will be intriguing to see if that moves the needle more with follow-up updates.

The rapper’s debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ launched with 235,000 copies in its first week back in 2018.
