Taylor Swift is once again heading to the big screen.

And this time, it’s with a companion offering for her eagerly awaited new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’

According to Variety, AMC Theatres is gearing up to release a secret Swift film in alignment with the LP.

Kept under tight wrap, the project has reportedly been long-gestating and will finally land in tandem with the album on October 3.

It is expected to fuse new music from the record with extended, long-form visuals.

The rollout sees Swift extend her relationship with AMC while capitalizing on her colossal pulling power. Indeed, she paired up with the theater chain for her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’ concert film in 2023.

Ever the savvy businesswoman, she brought that concert extravaganza to screens globally as part of the pact before hashing out another deal with Disney to house the film on its Disney+ streamer. All while still on the blockbuster trek.

This go round, word is that the singer is angling to up the ante with advancements such as showing the film in IMAX screens.

As of writing, sources say ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ movie is presently set for a limited run on October 3, 4, and 5, with at least four showings per day.

Should this hold, it will see Swift up against Dwayne Johnson‘s critically praised fighter ‘The Smashing Machine’ and Disney’s re-release of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ (ahead of the December launch of the new film ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash.’

Swift confirmed the news Friday afternoon (September 19). She took to social media to write:

“I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas! You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl.

Looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged Showtimes may vary, so check your local listings.
