The streaming giant announced that it will begin rolling out an in-app messaging feature, giving users the ability to chat and share music with people they’ve interacted with on Spotify.
This new functionality will be available on mobile devices in select markets this week for users aged 16 and older, across both free and premium tiers.
The move comes as Spotify looks to strengthen its user experience while competing with the likes of Apple Music and Amazon Music.
