In the Instagram video, Solange can be seen singing during the rehearsal, with Dylan Patrice Wiggins on keys and Walker playing electric guitar. Solange captioned the clip: “First band rehearsallll……we was kind of nervoussss.”

The exchange in the comments offered more context about Walker’s involvement. Solange explained that she had encouraged Walker to pick up the guitar again.

A new album would mark her first full-length project in more than seven years. For now, however, there is no official announcement of a new Solange album or release date. The rehearsal footage alone does not confirm that a new project is coming. Walker is widely recognized for her vocals and songwriting, making her appearance with an electric guitar an especially interesting detail.

Solange’s comment also suggests that Walker had stepped away from playing guitar before agreeing to participate in the rehearsal. Their creative connection could point toward a collaboration, but the artists have not disclosed what they are working on.
