Daytime talk show host and comedian Sherri Shepherd has officially received a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Shepherd has been bestowed with the major salute after a remarkable 30-year career in television and film.

The unveiling ceremony this week celebrated Shepherd’s decades of work as an actress, comedian, and TV personality.

Surrounded by close friends and family, including her best friend Niecy Nash and filmmaker Tyler Perry, the star was all smiles as she fulfilled a lifelong dream.

Shepherd received her star in the Television category and dedicated the honor to her son, Jeffrey Tarpley, who was diagnosed with autism. 

In an emotional moment, she credited him as her biggest motivation.

“My biggest shout-out is to my son, Jeffrey Tarpley. Everything that I do, everything that I am, is for my baby.”
