YoungBoy Never Broke Again may rarely find his name mentioned among the best-selling artists of the digital era, but the numbers don’t lie.

On the Billboard front, the rapper (born Kentrell Gaulden) is only one of 21 artists in the 67-year history of the Hot 100 to boast over 100 placements (106 as of time of this report).

As if that’s not enough to celebrate, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently published an update to his certification logs to confirm he’s now the first and only artist in the organization’s 73-year history to boast over 100 Gold singles.

Gaulden – hot on the promo trail for his January 16-released album ‘Slime Cry‘ – was given a new reason to cry a few tears of joy thanks to the RIAA.

Taking to press on the same day the LP dropped, the organization announced certification upgrades for 37 titles from his discography including ‘Vette Motors,’ ‘Right Foot Creep,’ ‘My Window,’ ‘No Switch,’ and more.

Collectively, the updates push his career-long sales to 109 million in the United States – making him only the fifth rapper in RIAA history to cross the 100 million-sold threshold after Drake (276 million), Eminem (167 million), Kanye West (163 million), and Travis Scott (141 million).

What’s more, the updates elevate his number of Gold-certified singles to 114 – not only the most of any artist ever but also making him the first act to garner 100+ single certifications at that level.

For context, “Gold” refers to sales equivalence of 500,000 units in the U.S.
