Jen Shah is coming home. And sooner than expected.

The ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star has been granted an early release date after more than two years behind bars for her role in an elaborate nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme.

PEOPLE confirms that Shah will be released from prison on December 10, marking the latest reduction to the six-and-a-half-year sentence she’s been serving since February 2023.

The 52-year-old reality star has been at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, a minimum-security facility that also houses Ghislaine Maxwell.

She reported to the facility to begin her stint on February 17, 2023, after pleading guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with a scheme that targeted thousands of victims, including the elderly.

As reported, the guilty plea served as a shock pivot after Shah initially maintained her innocence.

At her sentencing, the Housewives star said:

“I am sorry. My actions have hurt innocent people. I want to apologize by saying, I am doing all I can to earn the funds to pay restitution.”

Since her surrender, her sentence has been reduced multiple times. Indeed, Shah’s time was cut by one year in March 2023, by an additional eight months in October 2024, and again in January when her projected release moved to November 3, 2026. A fourth reduction came in August, moving her departure to August 30, 2026. The December 10 date marks the fifth adjustment.

Officials attributed those reductions to good behavior, participation in prison programming, and financial payments she has begun making to victims.

There may be some ways to go with the latter, as in total, she has been ordered to pay $6.5 million in restitution.

During her tenure behind bars, Shah was supported by her husband, University of Utah football coach Sharrieff “Coach” Shah. Indeed, as reported, the couple celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary with a photo taken during one of his visits to the facility.

Whether Shah will be back on screens remains to be seen. But what is for sure is that she’ll be home in a mere matter of weeks.
