In addition to customized wire service, UnmutedNews.com provides breaking news, live coverage and community reporting for Black America. Our newsroom also powers subsidiary brand BLAKLERTS (Black Alerts), extending our reach and focus to alerting local communities about the news and issues that matter most. Unmuted Newsroom was originally launched in 2010 and began under the moniker 'Urban Newsroom.'
