Nike and Sabrina Ionescu have introduced the Sabrina 4, the newest chapter in the New York Liberty guard’s signature sneaker line.
Ionescu revealed the model on April 8 while in China as part of her second Asia tour with Nike Basketball.
Set to release in July for $130, the Sabrina 4 builds on the success of Ionescu’s first three signature models. The line has been widely embraced by professional players, consistently ranking among the most-worn shoes in both the WNBA and NBA.
“Seeing my shoe worn across all levels of the game tells me that we are creating shoes that basketball players really love,” Ionescu said. “It takes a lot of work with my team at Nike to deliver footwear that can perform at this level and keep improving with each model.”
Visually, the Sabrina 4 leans sleeker. The updated shape takes a more modern look, but it doesn’t stray from the fit that’s made the line a favorite. The upper features a haptic print nodding to Ionescu’s Romanian roots, flowing from an “S” at the heel into an “I” toward the forefoot, with a lowercase “i” stamped at the back.
The low-top design retains familiar tech from previous models, like the forefoot Air Zoom unit and Cushlon 3.0 midsole, while adding a TPU FlyPlate designed specifically for basketball. A compression-molded forefoot vamp improves fit and containment.

An accompanying apparel collection brings Nike’s Aero-FIT cooling technology to the court for the first time. Designed to enhance airflow and reduce cling, the technology is used in Ionescu’s signature jersey and shorts, blending performance and sportswear.
“Every year, I work on my game, finding areas to add or improve,” Ionescu said. “That’s exactly what we’re doing with my shoe and my entire line — innovating in the right places while still keeping that Sabrina feel players know and love.”
The four-time All-Star is expected to debut the Sabrina 4 on the court when the WNBA season tips off in May, after receiving a core designation from the New York Liberty this week — a tag that gives the team exclusive rights to her and guarantees a one-year supermax contract.
The Sabrina 4 will release this summer on Nike.com and at select retailers.
