Sam Smith‘s latest album, the ill-fated ‘Hazel Eyes,’ may not have seen its commercial acclaim rival that of its predecessors (i.e. ‘In the Lonely Hour’ and ‘The Thrill of It All‘ LPs), but the August-released effort certainly boasts no shortage of critical acclaim.

Much of that fanfare is due to its housed singles including the warmly received ‘Love Is a Stillness,’ ‘Oh Mother,’ and ‘My Guy.’

The latter, already a fan-favorite from ‘Eyes,’ has been reimagined with R&B/Gospel singer Jacob Lusk after fans were wowed by the two’s live duet version from the historic London Coliseum.

“You can dream it all that you want, but you can’t have my boy / A breath of fresh air, a rose on the vine / Oh, I could just stare at him all the time, time, time / He’s my guy,” sings Smith over a David Odlum-produced chorus.

Released courtesy of Capitol Records on Friday (October 30), hop inside to get familiar with the revamped version of ‘Guy.’
