As buzz continues to grow for ‘Power: Origins,’ the upcoming prequel to STARZ’ former flagship series ‘Power,’ the show’s executive producer 50 Cent is looking to ramp that excitement into overdrive by giving fans a sneak listen to its official theme song: ‘No One Told Us.’

“No one told us what we’re here for / Lord, don’t you let us get guided wrong, no / Poverty is all we know / So hustlin’ is all we know / Forgive us for our sins, Lord,” wails GRAMMY-winning R&B star Leon Thomas over a Ky Miller-produced hook.

The tune will reportedly also be included with 50’s forthcoming sixth studio album, the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Animal Ambition.’

At writing, 50’s new album does not have an official release date attached.

As for ‘Origins,’ the show is already in production and set to launch later this year. At the time of this report, however, no premiere date has been announced.
