The BET favorite will return for Season 6, but future episodes will stream on Paramount+ as part of a wider shift that brings BET content to the platform beginning in June.

Led by Patricia Williams-Lee, the series continues to draw from her real-life experiences, fusing raw, unbridled humor with unfiltered takes on topics like family dynamics, race, addiction, sexuality, and identity.

Speaking on the move, the comedian made clear fans should not expect a major shake-up:

“We’re not a new show, and we have a foundation… and we’re moving into a bigger foundation.”

Co-creator Jordan E. Cooper echoed that sentiment, highlighting the opportunity for growth:

“We’re excited that now we will have a global audience… we don’t think we’re going to change the recipe at all.”

The ensemble cast, including Tami Roman and J. Bernard Calloway, is also expected to return as the storylines continue to evolve following season 5’s drama-drenched run.
