The new initiative will spotlight original films created by queer filmmakers, with a particular emphasis on stories highlighting the experiences and perspectives of queer people of color.

Among those serving on the judging panel are TS Madison, Miss Lawrence, Bobby Ashley, Mike Guano and Dyllón Burnside.

And there’s serious money on the line!

The festival will award $10,000 each to the Grand Jury Award and Audience Choice Award winners, with both short and feature-length projects eligible.

Selected films will stream exclusively through the Jack’d app from November 2 through December 3, while submissions close October 21.
