The MOBO Awards are heading to Manchester for an unmissable celebration of Music of Black Origin.

Moments ago, it was announced that the world-renowned ceremony will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026 at Manchester’s Co-Op Live – the UK’s newest and largest live entertainment arena.

The show, which promises performances by music superstars nd culture-defining moments, will take place on March 26, 2026.

Before the show, MOBO is also collaborating with Manchester City Council to power the MOBO Fringe Festival, a week-long celebration of music, culture, and creativity in the lead-up to the eagerly anticipated ceremony. A free programme, the event will feature industry panels, talent showcases, live performances, and creative workshops. These will span music, technology, and the arts, carving out opportunities for the next generation while spotlighting Manchester’s homegrown talent.

Kanya King CBE, Founder and CEO of MOBO Group, said:
