Metro Boomin has been cleared of multiple sexual assault allegations against Vanessa LeMaistre, closing a year-long legal battle that began with claims from a 2016 Beverly Hills hotel encounter.

The superstar producer, real name Leland Wayne, was found not liable by a Los Angeles jury after taking the stand to call the accusations “preposterous” and insisting both encounters were consensual and protected.

LeMaistre, however, had testified she was semi-conscious after being given a drink and detailed her account in journal entries and disputed medical records.

After Thursday’s verdict, Metro issued a reserved post on X, later expanding on the toll the case took on his finances, reputation, and opportunities. He said:

 “I’m grateful to God that I can finally put all of this nonsense behind me.”

Adding that the allegations had tarnished the “superhero” image many fans hold of him.

The full statement read:

“I’m grateful and thankful to God that I can finally put all of this nonsense behind me.

Based off of how I treat others and represent myself, never in a million years would I have thought I could be accused of such a disgusting and heinous act. Today I took a victory in court but in reality there is a long list of losses I stacked up in this year long process of clearing my name and reputation. The very large amount of money and time wasted based off of someone else’s greed, coupled with the incalculable amount of money and opportunities that did not make it to me or my team during this time.

“Metro Boomin” is more than a stage name or family friendly brand but a superhero in the eyes of many children and adults around the world. I’m sure I don’t have to put into anymore words on how devastating these false claims must have been to many. Lastly the trauma my family and I have endured during this dark period can never be forgiven. I legally adopted my youngest brother and sister and am active in their lives and at their schools so just imagine what they have been through in a time where almost any kid from the age 9 and up has access to a smart phone or tablet. I’m disappointed in not only the plaintiff but the janky lawyers who made the conscious decision to take on this suit, even though it was evident long ago that these claims had no legs or merit and would not end up going anywhere. I’d like to thank my attorneys Lawrence Hinkle, Justin H. Sanders, and Bobby D. Daniels at Sanders Roberts, along with the judge and jury for their time seeking truth and justice within all of this nonsense. Peace and love to all of the actual victims out there as well as the innocent and accused.”
