Mary J. Blige is facing more legal drama.

For, it looks like a decades-long friendship between the singer and a cohort has not only imploded, but may lead to a showdown in court.

Celebrity stylist Misa Hylton has filed a $5 million lawsuit against her longtime best friend.

According to explosive court documents, Hylton accuses Blige of purposely sabotaging her management deal with Harlem rapper Vado.

The legendary songbird recently collaborated with the MC on her song ‘Still Believe’ and appears to have business interests in his career.

Hylton claims that Blige, through her company Beautiful Life Productions, used her industry clout to pressure Vado into cutting ties with Hylton’s M.I.S.A. Management, which had a signed agreement entitling them to 20% of Vado’s earnings.

Misa is now seeking $5 million in damages for breach of contract, emotional distress, and interference with business relationships, saying the betrayal not only cost her money but also deeply impacted her mental and professional well-being.

The documents allege Blige didn’t hold back, allegedly pulling Vado into private yacht parties, late-night hotel meetups, and VIP events where Misa and her team were intentionally left out.

Hylton says Blige’s head of security, her alleged boyfriend, tried to convince Vado himself, warning the rapper he’d be “missing out on big opportunities” if he didn’t ditch M.I.S.A. for good.

While the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has stayed silent on the matter, she’s just wrapped up her ‘For My Fans Tour‘ — and now it looks like she may be trading the stage for the courtroom.
