Mark Curry Blasts 50 Cent Diddy Doc Deal, Rapper Responds

There is reportedly a “bad” deal behind the recent success of 50 Cent‘s Netflix documentary, ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning,’ following its recent Emmy win.

Full story below…

Former Bad Boy artist Mark Curry recently broke his silence on Instagram, claiming he was promised a producer credit for the now Emmy-winning documentary. Curry alleges that he helped spearhead the project’s development, basing much of it on the book he wrote about his experiences during his time at Bad Boy Records.

He also claims he was responsible for contacting and booking much of the talent featured in the documentary. According to Curry, he was assured that he would receive a producer credit and be “grandfathered in” on any future deals related to the project.

However, he says those promises have yet to be fulfilled, ultimately calling it one of the “worst deals” he has ever made, even compared to the business he conducted with Diddy.

Curry shared:

“When we first did the documentary, I was supposed to get a production credit. That’s why I put the documentary together the way I did. I was promised a production credit, and they told me that even if the documentary sold, I would be grandfathered into any deal.”

50 Cent later responded in his signature trolling fashion, posting a message on social media asking Curry for his Cash App.

“Yo chill 🥷🏾 what’s your Cash App, 👀 $Diddytouchedyourbutt”

With Curry now publicly calling for the producer credit he says he was promised on the Emmy-winning project, questions have been raised about how the business arrangement was handled. Was there a signed contract outlining Curry’s role, or did he rely solely on verbal promises?

Until those questions are answered, the G-Unit rapper appears to be celebrating another major achievement with his latest Emmy-winning project.
