Chris Brown has never been one to rest on his laurels, and that’s not a habit he’s set to pick up in 2026.

Just months after wrapping up the ‘Breezy Bowl World Tour,’ the most successful global trek of his two-decade career, Chris kicked off the new year by promising his dedicated fans (affectionately called #TeamBreezy) that he’s putting the finishing touches on his 12th studio album currently titled ‘Brown.’

“Don’t worry. Ima drop dat new sh-t soon,” he told his 143 million followers on Instagram recently. “Been recording, resting, growing a beard, Christmas, New Year’s, my babies’ birthday parties, paying bills, looking out for my folks, etc. I’m coming, though.”

As #TeamBreezy anxiously awaits updates on ‘Brown,’ the 36-year-old decided to tide them over by hopping on the remix of Gunna‘s ‘WGFT‘ – an acronym for ‘We Getting F-cked Tonight’ – as his first release of 2026.

“So take it in, girl, I’m takin’ you up tonight / Two hands on it, baby, you can tell what I like,” Chris sings over Turbo & Shottie production.  “You know you a freak, girl, I can tell in your eyes / How you look when I asked you, baby.”
