LaTocha Scott is spilling all about the continuing Xscape drama during her appearance on ‘The Nene Leakes Show’.

During her appearance on the freshly launched series, the former Xscape member calls out her sister Tamika Scott for not supporting her decision to leave the group.

This caused the ‘Just Kickin’ It’ singer a lot of hurt and pain because she claims intervened for Tamika when she got pregnant, and someone on Xscape’s team wanted to cut her from the group. She states:

“I remember when we were about to do ‘Understanding’. The song was getting ready to come out, and she had gotten pregnant. And I’ll never forget. They were like, ‘Okay, we’re going to kick her out.’ That bothered me. I felt a way, but I couldn’t give up on my sister. You know what I told them? She goes; I go. That could have been my whole career. I wouldn’t have been sitting here. You wouldn’t have been asking me about Xscape. Because that’s the love and the loyalty that I had. So does it hurt to know that? Yes. It’s deep. Very deep.” 

But the gospel singer says she is hopeful for an Xscape reunion in the future, but it’ll take some work. She says:

“I think moving forward is talking, healing, being honest with one another, loving each other through it, forgiving, and moving forward […] At the end of the day, I think everybody deserves to be happy in whatever lane they wanna go in. I just hate that it’s come down to this.”

LaTocha left Xscape in late 2022 after filming ‘SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B’, where internal conflicts played out on screen.

But, the feeling of getting kicked out occurred when she wasn’t aware of the group heading out on tour, things being set up without her in mind, and allegedly being left out of the loop.

In February, LaTocha did the ‘Residuals’ challenge, speaking on the strain with her former group members and wanting to reconcile with her sister.
