The final defendant in the federal case surrounding Matthew Perry’s tragic death has agreed to a plea deal.
Full story below…
Jasveen Sangha, infamously dubbed the ‘Ketamine Queen’ for her role in distributing the drug in North Hollywood, will plead guilty to multiple charges, including three counts of ketamine distribution, one count of distribution resulting in death, and maintaining a drug-involved premises.
While Sangha faces the potential 65-year prison sentence, prosecutors are expected to recommend a reduced term if she fully accepts responsibility. Court documents reveal she attempted to erase incriminating texts after Perry’s 2023 passing, including one where she denied dealing directly with the ‘Friends’ actor and another speculating how long ketamine would remain in his system.
Her plea follows those of defendants Mark Chavez, Erik Fleming, Salvador Plasencia, and Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, marking the end of the federal investigation.
