KATSEYE has been forced to pull out of Olivia Rodrigo‘s Daisy Chain Fields festival.

The group announced the last-minute change after member Megan Skiendiel suffered an ankle injury during rehearsals for their upcoming tour.

And with the trek just days away, doctors have advised the star to prioritize her recovery.

KATSEYE shared the news with fans, explaining:

“Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour.”

Addressing those who had planned to see them at the August 29 event in Irvine, California, the group added:

“We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there.”

The injury arrives during an already challenging stretch for the six-piece. Sophia Laforteza temporarily stepped back earlier this month to prioritize her mental health and wellness, while Manon Bannerman has been on hiatus since February to focus on her health and well-being.

As such, KATSEYE had most recently been performing as a quartet.

Devon Again has now been added to the Daisy Chain Fields bill following KATSEYE’s withdrawal.

As reported, Rodrigo launched the all-women festival with proceeds supporting organizations championing women and girls. The stacked line-up also features Doechii, Chappell Roan, Mitski, and more.
