According to 8 News Now, sources claim the 45-year-old is in early discussions with MGM and Live Nation for a residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, with a potential launch eyed for 2028.

The venue, known for hosting the likes of Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, could provide the perfect stage for a hit-driven set built around his biggest records rather than newer material.

Insiders suggest the move comes after a so-so response to his recent album cycle, prompting a strategic shift toward a greatest hits format that has proven successful for other major acts in Vegas

The residency talks also come on the heels of renewed attention surrounding his 2024 DWI arrest, after bodycam footage recently surfaced showing him struggling through sobriety tests.

Interestingly, should JT make a beeline for Vegas it will function as quite the seachange. For, he previously went on record to say he was like “planning your retirement.”
