The Jonas Brothers are going back to camp!

It was announced that the group is returning for the upcoming ‘Camp Rock 3’ film.

Disney confirmed that ‘Camp Rock 3’ has been greenlit and filming has already begun in Vancouver.

The band is returning as Connect 3. They’re also executive producing the flick along with Demi Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in the first two films.

The film follows Connect 3 losing their opening act for their major reunion tour and going back to Camp Rock to find a replacement. The campers compete for a chance to open for the band, and friendships are tested. But unexpected alliances, romances, and revelations arise.

In addition to the brothers, Maria Canals-Barrera, who played Mitchie’s mother Connie, will reprise her role. Plus, the film will introduce some fresh faces this time around.

Those fresh faces include Liamani Segura as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, newcomer Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, Ava Jean as Madison, and Sherry Cola as Lark.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, expressed excitement about bringing back the franchise. She says:

“Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day. Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”

This announcement follows the ‘Burnin’ Up’ band also releasing a holiday film on Disney+ aptly called ‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie,’ where the brothers face obstacles trying to get back to New York from London in time to spend Christmas with their families. It releases on November 14.
