John Boyega Reveals He’s Married and Welcomed a Baby Boy

John Boyega is embracing a new chapter in his personal life, revealing that he’s been married for almost two years and has welcomed his first child.

The ‘Star Wars‘ star shared the news during a recent interview discussing his life ahead of the release of the documentary ‘Damilola: The Untold Story,’ which explored the tragic death of his childhood friend.

Speaking to The Guardian, Boyega revealed that he and his wife opted for a small wedding ceremony, explaining that they prefer celebrating something already established rather than the beginning of a relationship.

The actor also confirmed that the baby boy is on the way, sharing:

“We got a baby boy cooking.”

Reflecting on his growing family, the 34-year-old added:

“My life is completely, completely fulfilled in terms of family. It’s been so nice with the timing.”

Although Boyega had kept his wife’s identity private, he’s now confined the speculations taking to Instagram to post a picture with himself and Lashontae Heckard, with the caption:

“Our bundle of joy has been with us for some time now but thank you for all the well wishes. Also my sister is about to pop! Wish her well too!
