During a visit to ‘The Today Show‘ on Monday (October 6) in celebration of the October 10 release of her new film ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman,‘ the superstar kept her composure when resident anchor Craig Melvin slipped in a question about her recently finalized divorce from Ben Affleck.

Lopez didn’t hesitate to give her ex-husband credit, revealing that Affleck served as an executive producer on the project and helped finance it.

 “Without Ben this film wouldn’t exist; the movie was all about escapism, and it helped [the main character] navigate one of the hardest times of her life,” she said.

Ever the professional, Jennifer quickly redirected the conversation to a lighter topic: Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl announcement.

She lit up and couldn’t help but smile while reminiscing about sharing the stage with him during her own halftime performance in 2020.

Despite her elation, Lopez was disheartened by reports that the NFL is facing controversy from conservatives who have blasted the football organization and Apple Music (the Halftime Show sponsor) for selecting Bunny as the 2026 headliner.
