Halle Berry has officially taken the next step with longtime partner Van Hunt.

The Oscar winner confirmed the pair are engaged while visiting ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ putting months of speculation to rest after nearly five years of dating.

During the appearance, the 59-year-old actress addressed lingering confusion around her relationship status, clarifying that while the couple did not yet have a wedding date, she had indeed said yes.

“He did put a little ring on it.”

Berry shared, flashing her engagement ring to a surprised Fallon, who joked about the size of the rock before congratulating the couple.

The engagement follows comments Hunt made in mid-2025, when he revealed he had previously proposed, but that the timing was not right. At the time, Berry cited caution following past marriages, though she made clear the commitment was solid.
